Words do this to us. They feed us even before we see. They build expectations. They are things too. And they lead us to see other things in a certain way. Words activated like and paired with the visual are the message.

Some non-profits are genius. The Walker? I want to smother you with wet lipstick kisses and feed you dark chocolate.

But some make me want to pound my head against a fat man’s butt in the summer.

Those that are wound tight, like a clubhouse. Those that struggle for money while afraid to step out of their little zone and try. It makes me crazy because helping those for whom the non-profit exists sometimes means try something new. When we get to help brave non-profits, those filled with the energy of let’s make it happen, we bounce. Gorgeous things happen. When we see others step up and do the same, we beam from ear to ear for them. So much is possible thanks to the realm of ideas and the strong hearts of those who believe. So think hard, and make something happen for your favorite non-profit today.
